Sarah's Room

Sarah's Room

Located on the second floor, Sarah’s Room is a beautiful room. It has a comfy pillow-top queen-sized four-poster bed dressed with snuggly quilts and traditional décor focussed on remembrances of times past. The room is named for a close family friend. It is decorated with antiques, sepia pictures of the family and is similar to the room Sarah always gave us when we visited her at her farm.

The room is air conditioned and has a ceiling fan for personal comfort, two luggage racks, clock radio, cable television and free WiFi.

Sarah’s Room has a private three-piece ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Complimentary bathroom amenities include shampoo, a hair dryer, hand and body lotions, an assortment of body washes, makeup remover pads, a turban style hair towel and a shower cap.

Tariff: Price per night is $145.00 Canadian but if stay is two nights or more, a $10.00 discount will be applied. Rate does not include taxes. Cash, cheques, VISA, MasterCard or American Express.

Down East Room

Down East Room

The Down East Room is a lovely, restful room. It has a comfy pillow-top queen-sized four-poster bed dressed with snuggly quilts and is a reminder of our Canadian Maritime roots of New Brunswick. Its light and airy décor is reminiscent of a room overlooking the sea. Artwork depicting scenes of the varied beauty of Canada’s Maritimes can be seen throughout the house was well as in the Down East Room.

The room is fully air conditioned and has a ceiling fan for personal comfort, two luggage racks, a clock radio, free WiFi, Rocky the singing lobster and cable television.

A private three-piece ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and nautical décor completes the suite. With a knot board as a guide, a small length of rope is provided so that you can practice knot-tying in private. The complimentary bathroom amenities include shampoo, a hair dryer, hand and body lotions, an assortment of body washes, makeup remover, and a shower cap.

The Captains Quarters

The Captains Quarters

The Captain’s Quarters is on the main floor of our house. This spacious room has a 32” flat screen television, a fireplace and a comfortable king-sized half sleigh-style bed dressed with soft quilts and numerous pillows. The room décor speaks of comfort for the captain home from the sea. Again, as most of the artwork in the house and in this room depict Canadian maritime scenes.

Terrace doors open to a view of the rear gardens. The room is air conditioned and has a ceiling fan for personal comfort, two luggage racks, free WiFi and a clock radio.

The Captain’s Quarters has a private full four-piece private ensuite bathroom with a tub-shower combination. Complimentary bathroom amenities include shampoo, a hair dryer, hand and body lotions, an assortment of body washes, makeup remover pads, a turban style hair towel, a shower cap, bubble bath assortment and the Captain’s rubber ducky for company.

Outside the Captain’s Quarters is a water fountain with a small fridge stocked with complimentary soft drinks and bottled water, with space to tuck in a bottle of wine.

The Upstairs Lounge

The Upstairs Lounge

Situated between the two upstairs bedrooms (Sarah’s Room and the Down East Room) is a comfortable sitting room. The arrangement is especially popular with two couples travelling together.

It has a fireplace, a 32” cable television, a ceiling fan and a Keurig beverage machine with pods for assorted coffees, teas, and hot chocolate

There is a small fridge stocked with complimentary bottles of water and soft drinks. However, the fridge can easily accommodate bottles of wine.

An assortment of board games, including Trivial Pursuit and Scrabble, and playing cards are stashed in the black padded cubes.

French doors close off the room for noise and privacy.
